Head Coach: Will Smith
Head Coach Will Smith has coached at Spain Park for nearly 20 years. He attended Billingsley (AL) H.S. where he was All-State in football, basketball, and baseball. Coach Smith is an alumnus of UAB where he played baseball for the Blazers. He was First Team Conference USA his junior and senior seasons. He also played professionally for four seasons with the Boston Red Sox organization. While with the Red Sox, he was a Florida State League All-Star. Will made it to AA while in the Red Sox organization. Coach Smith was recognized as a finalist for the FCA Coach of the Year in 2006, named Over the Mountain Coach of the Year for 2007, 2010, 2012, and 2014; and was the 6A Coach of the Year in 2014. He is married to Brooke Smith and they have three children: Brody, Ellison, and Miller.
